Final P.E blog Post.

This is my final blog post for physical education 09.Throughout the whole year and P.E I have to admit I have had my rough spots, but I think everyone does at some point. In the very beginning In P.E (In September) I was nervous being in grade 9 being scared of the older kids in P.E, and once I got there I got even more nervous. Once I walked into the P.E gym that day I realized I had some friends in that class, which made me very happy. The first few weeks were kind of difficult to adjust to compared to grade 8. 1st semester in my opinion I thought, I wasn't very fit and got tired very easy, & didn't try as hard as I should have. Next was 2nd semester, 2nd was probably a better part of P.E for me. I started eating healthier (I ate healthy before but I started eating healthier more often). As P.E went through I tried my best, & I worked hard in P.E, a big boost for me was probably listening to music because it pumps me up and gets me going. As going through P.E I decided I wanted to join a sport, I decided since I really enjoyed basketball I should join. That's when I joined the Steve Nash league, My first practice was in April. In Basketball we do all sorts of drills, running, ball handling, shooting, defending. Just all around everything. My favourite days in P.E are probably choice days because we have a choice in what to pick. On fitness days I enjoy Locomotion I enjoy that because I find it actually helps and like it works you hard. That leads me up to today, I am still in basketball and I am joining a summer league and plan to keep playing basketball all through high school, because I enjoy it a lot. Overall, P.E this year I find I have worked myself hard and I feel like I have accomplished a lot. I am so glad to be in basketball because it keeps me entertained and its such a stress reliever, and I am finding the more I workout outside of school, the less difficult it is to do things like the beep test. Like I said before, Overall I feel like I have accomplished a lot and I enjoy P.E a lot!

P.E class (mix in with seniors)

for our p.e class today we did a mix in with the senior class.
how i thought it went was good,
it was cool mixing classes and getting to interact with the older kids.
its also fun to be able to work with the older  kids and getting to know them.
i think it is a good expereince to be able to work with the older kids and just work as a group.

P.E write up.

recently i sprained my ankle bad while playing a basketball game.
now it is starting to get better and i can put more pressure on it so today i decided i should do p.e, so we did the locomotion outside and i tried doing the activities,
after the first few activities my ankle started hurting and it started throbbing so i sat out, i sat out because i didnt want to hurt it more so it can heal faster. i am trying to make sure it heals fast so i can join in p.e again.

Discovery time

What i have chosen to do is smile at everyone i see, be it the mall, resturant, school, or anywhere. The reactions i have gotten are different. Most people smile back, but the odd person will just frown. by doing this i feel better and it makes me happy to share my smile with everyone else.

P.E report card

So far this year i think that i have improved little by little each time. I think i deserve a c+ or a b as a mark. i think this because i have a posotive attitude when i attend class, and i also joined an out of school basketball leauge and have chosen to eat healthier to help me with my fitness.
so overall as a mark i think i deserve a c+ or a b.

Weight room.

my goal for the weight room today is abs.
i have been doing alot of crunches.
i also have been doing Dance crunches (90) ,V-sits ( 20 ), 20 situps.

Progress Report.

Since last term i think i have been improving bit by bit. I have been feelings alot better about PE and about myself.
i have taken some evidence of my fitness and regular PE days. I think this semester i deserve a B or C+ because of i have been working up more of my intesnity level.
Some days i may be in a bad mood and not work as hard as i should even though i should. But overall i think i deserve a B or C+.

PE 9 blog post

what i enjoyed about the course was being able to have a choice in what activities we get to do. A thing i would change would be, umm nothing i can really think of, everything is fair! What i bring to the class dynamic and contribute is my posotive attitude and a smile :)
I think my area of strength would be probably be like a curcuit at my own pace (a light run). My goal for the class is to stay active and eat healty.
When i participate i usually engage with a moderate intensity, but i hoping the more comfortable i get with moderate i will get into a higher intensity.
